Tummy Tuck Case #115

This is a 44 year old mother of four who came in to our office from Crosby, Texas looking for an improved appearance of her abdomen. She works in the office of her children’s school. The patient is 5’2”, weighed 110 pounds and was in overall good shape. During the surgeon’s physical exam, poor elasticity to the lower and upper abdominal skin and presence of a C-section scar was discovered.  In order to achieve the results the patient was after, the recommendation was for an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). The procedure was performed in our private surgical suite in Webster, Texas and the patient went home the same day. Two days later she walked back in to our office for her first follow up visit doing well. The surgery took place during the summer months and she was fully recovered before the next school year came around. Her after pictures were taken 3 months later and although the scar was still a little red, the patient was very pleased with her new flat tummy.
