Tummy Tuck Case #58

This is a 36 year old Venezuelan mother of two who came in to our office from Humble, Texas looking for an improved appearance of her abdomen. The patient is 5’1”, weighed 145 pounds and was planning to lose a few more pounds prior to her surgery.  During the surgeon’s physical exam, her abdomen was full of stretch marks and the skin was very loose, there was also a well healed C-section scar present. In addition, there was excess adipose tissue in the hips and thighs.  In order to achieve the results the patient was after, the recommendation was for an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with liposuction of the hips and thighs. The procedure was performed in our private surgical suite in Webster, Texas and the patient went home the same day. Two days later she walked back in to our office for her first follow up visit doing well. She was self employed and after just a few days was able to work from home. Her post op pictures were taken 3 months after, and although her scar was still a bit red she was very happy with her results. She is now planning a trip back to Venezuela to visit her family.
