Breast Augmentation Case #129

This is a 39 year old, married yoga instructor from Austin, Texas. She was referred by her University of Texas sorority sister who had a breast augmentation at our facility in Webster, Texas a year ago. She arrived at our office interested in a possible breast augmentation. During her consult, the surgeon found her to be a great candidate for an augmentation. However, the patient did express her concerns in going too big due to her lifestyle and occupation. The recommendation was for a breast augmentation using 300cc silicone gel implants, placed in a submuscualr position, using an inframammary incision. The surgery was performed in our private surgical suite and the patient remained in town overnight at the home of her friend. The next morning she was seen in our office for her first post operative visit, all was well, she was given instructions and was able to travel back to Austin. She was able to resume cardio activities at 2 weeks later and was able to return to work and yoga 6 weeks later. At her 3 month follow up visit, we took her pictures and she was pleased to tell us how happy she was about her decision to travel to our facility for her surgery.
