Breast Augmentation Case #140

This is a 30 year old mother of 2, who works as an administrative assistant in the Houston area. She came to our office looking for cosmetic improvement of her breasts. She is 5’4”, weighs 145 pounds and has been a smoker for 14 years; she is otherwise healthy. During consultation in our Webster, Texas office, the surgeon discovered a slight volume difference between her breasts, otherwise she was a good candidate for the procedure. The recommendation was for breast augmentation using silicone gel implants, placing a slightly bigger implant in the left breast to correct the asymmetry. The procedure was performed in our private surgical suite. The implants were placed in a submuscular position, using an inframammary incision. To achieve the look the patient desired, a 500cc implant was placed in the right and a 550cc implant on the left. At the time her post op pictures were taken, the patient is thrilled with the symmetry and fullness of her breasts.
