Breast Augmentation Case #141

This is a 36 year old homemaker who came in to our office from Katy, Texas desiring a breast augmentation. She is 5’2”, weighs 120 pounds, has 2 children and is in great shape. During consultation in our office in Webster, Texas, the surgeon found her to be a great candidate for breast augmentation. She had nicely shaped A cup breasts and no drooping considering, she breast fed her two children. In addition, she complained of having prominent nipples, which would be exaggerated by the augmentation procedure. The surgeon’s recommendations were for breast augmentation using 325cc silicone gel implants, placed in a submuscular position, using an inframammary incision along with a nipple reduction. The procedure was performed in our private surgical suite and the patient went home the same day. She returned to our office for routine follow ups. By her second follow up visit, her nipples had healed nicely. She was very pleased with her results. Now she has fuller breasts and is no longer self conscious of her enlarged nipples.
