Nipple Reduction Case #26

This is a 44 year old single professional from Conroe, Texas. She came in to our Webster, Texas office desiring larger breasts. On examination, she had nicely shaped B cup breasts, with the nipples well above the inframammary fold and no ptosis (drooping). However, her nipples were a bit on the long side and the patient was informed that they may become more apparent after breast enhancement, a concern which she also shared. Therefore, the recommendation was for breast augmentation along with a nipple reduction. The procedure was performed in our private surgical suite, where the surgeon placed 350cc saline implants overfilled to 405cc’s, in a submuscular position, using an inframammary incision, after which, using the “Moliver forceps” the nipple reduction was done. The surgery was successful and the patient was released to go home the same day. She followed all of the post op instructions given, returned two weeks later very pleased that her nipples had already healed.
