Nipple Reduction Case #27

This is a 30 year old Asian American who desires breast augmentation. She works full time for an oil company in Houston, Texas and is the mother of three. On examination in our office in Webster, Texas, she had nicely shaped A cup breasts, with the nipples well above the inframammary fold and no ptosis (drooping). However, her nipples were a bit on the long side and she was informed that they may become more apparent after breast enhancement surgery. That being said, the recommendation was for breast augmentation along with a nipple reduction. The procedure was performed in our private surgical suite, where the surgeon placed 400cc silicone gel implants, in a submuscular position, using an inframammary incision. After, using the “Moliver forceps”, the nipple reduction was done. The surgery was successful and the patient was released to go home the same day. Post pictures were taken 3 months later, at which time the patient shared just how pleased she was with her results.
