Rhinoplasty Case #71

This is a 15 year old young lady who is a student at a private school in Downtown Houston. She came in to our office in Webster, Texas with her parents to consult for a rhinoplasty. She had good facial proportions, however, she did have a dorsal hump and a bulbous tip. The internal examination of the nose was benign. The recommendation was for an open rhinoplasty with a reduction of the dorsal hump and an upper rotation of the tip. The procedure was performed in our private surgical suite and the patient went home the same day. Seven days after her procedure, the splint was removed and although there was still quite a bit of swelling she already loved her results and could not wait to return to school after the summer break.
